Massive Loar Photo Update from Darryl Wolfe

If you take a gander to the right on the Archive Home Page, you'll see many Loars listed under "new images".

These newly added photos come from Darryl Wolfe's 35mm collections, taken in the pre-digital days and recently scanned in to add here. Most of these have never been seen before, and fill in some particularly stunning examples that Darryl or our friend Tom Isenhour saw in person in the pre-digital days.

Honey blonde done right. Here's a Gilchrist Classical model 5 mandolin with a single piece back, customized black tuners and tailpiece, and a Teens Gibson-style clamp holds the pickguard in place. You don't see many of these come up for sale, and this one has an oval-holed 4c right next to it on the for sale page.
