Mandolin, Style F7
Factory order number unknown
The same model as played by Bill Monroe early in his career. This mandolin was once owned by Frank Vento, a well known entertainer in California in the mid-1960s. Shows plenty of honest playing wear but it is all original finish and hardware with no repairs. It has the original neck which has not been converted to long scale. As you can imagine the sound has been played into this one. Great woody tone and has a decent chop. Action is great.
