Description

Needs work- (refret to straighten neck, glue and cleat large back crack and side seam, replace aluminum tailpiece with correct repro, replace missing end and side pins, clean, restring and set up). Black finished carved spruce top, dark stained back and sides, mahogany neck, 16-fret ebony fingerboard, pearl dot inlays, 1-23/32" nut width, 42-1/2" scale, maple bridge with ebony saddles, ivoroid-bound top and round soundhole, concentric rings of rope style purfling rosette, silkscreened "The Gibson" script headstock logo, 4 geared tuners, serial number indicates 1925, but has features only found in 1928 and after, rare, with recently made gigbag
