Black finish. Snakehead; ORIGINAL Loar-type gears, silver plated with pearl buttons

DB- the tuners are "arrow-end" type, but do not appear to be pearl-buttoned in the pictures we have of this instrument. Some back shrinkage apparent near the heel joint
