Description

Well-played snakehead with amazing tone. I (Dan Beimborn) recorded several tracks with it on my Celtic CD. The soundhole has wear marks consistent with rodent teeth marks, some dents, but no breaks. I replaced the Waverly tuners with Shallers (one had a badly bent post, and 2 others were badly worn). The Tailpiece cover is missing, and the new owner has replaced the frets. Tone-wise, it was one of the finest Gibson A I've ever played

Wide-grain spruce on bass side, tighter on treble. Also missing pickguard
