Description

"The Schultz Loar". Fern, virzi. Jack Schultz, the grandson of Charles Carter (the original buyer) found out what they'd had in the closet all these years one day in January 2004 after performing a web search on "Lloyd Loar".

The tuner plates are somewhat unusual on this example, with 5 screws instead of the usual three per plate, and elaborately detailed leaves & decorations stamped onto the tuner plates

Jack Schultz graciously loaned me this instrument for several months.

Photos in this listing are all taken by Dan Beimborn (except photo showing case taken by Jack Schultz)
