snakehead peghead, adjustable truss rod, red sunburst carved spruce top with oval soundhole, inlaid wood rope marquetry-ivoroid-wrm soundhole rosette, reddish brown finished back and sides, mahogany neck joins body at 10th fret, 24-fret ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, adjustable ebony bridge (stamped "PAT'D JAN 18-21") "The Gibson" engraved tailpiece cover, ivoroid-bound body, fretboard and soundhole, 4-on-a-plate open-gear tuners with ivoroid tuner buttons and arrowhead plates, raised tortoise plastic pickguard stamped "PAT.MAR.30,'09", pearl script "The Gibson" peghead logo on an angle and fleur-de-lis inlay, 10-1/8" body width, 1-7/8" body depth, 14" scale, 1-1/8" nut width, nice Loar period mandolin with good sound, with black OHSC
