VGC except for repaired top crack and back has shrunken, pumpkin color carved spruce top with oval soundhole, paddle headstock with silkscreened script "The Gibson" logo, 19 fret ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, ebony brige, early style "The Gibson" engraved tailpiece cover, new tailpiece installed, 4-in-a-line open-gear tuners with ivoroid buttons, 2 inlaid rope purfling rings around soundhole, small pickguard inlaid into top, 10-5/8" lower bout, ~13-7/8" scale, 1-1/8" nut width, 1-3/4" side depth, "Orville" label with picture of Orville Gibson and lyre-mandolin, label reads "Gibson Mandolin = Guitar Mfg. Co.", replacement adjustable ebony bridge, recent refret by our shop
