1923/24 serial number reported on later label late 1930's style f5. Neck, tuners, inlay, fingerboard appear to match late 30's style. Tailpiece and endpin also are later 30's type. Thick lacquer finish
There is no original Loar signature label present, but this mandolin has had a "reproduction" Loar signature added some time in recent history
