The label is marked "A2Z". It has the inlaid pearl logo, bound top, back and fingerboard, the wide soundhole rosette, and the thin black line of inner binding on the top. This is a classic Loar era instrument with the sound that you expect from this period. Plays smoothly with excellent volume and tone. This is just a great sounding mandolin - an excellent demonstration of why many pickers believe the snakehead era mandolins are the best ever made by Gibson. Excellent condition with some very minor finish wear and checking. No breaks, cracks or refinish. Blonde top finish and brown back and sides. Has the adjustable truss rod. All hardware and finish is original.
