Side-bound July 9. Serial number is probably the last July 9, as it appears just before 74003 which is the "Mrs. Griffith" Loar A5. Tailpiece cover was at one time a teens style one with "#74002, F-5, July 9, 1923, Dr. I. Garfin, October 3, 1939" written on the underside. An original Loar tailpiece is now fitted.

Very nice tone and volume, a superior-sounding July 9

Thanks to Stan Jay of Mandolin Bros for one set of pictures and the description of the teens tailpiece that was once fitted
