Exceptional volume and tone. The F5 Journal just missed it by hours in 1966 for $300.

VGC+, signed by Lloyd Loar (the same day as Bill Monroe's), flowerpot headstock, triple bound top, neck, headstock and pickguard, no Virzi, exceptional sound, all original (except frets, and possibly the top of the bridge), one owner since mid-'60's, rare, collectible, great player, with OHSC

DB - This particular example has an unusual off-center sunburst.
