Description
Signed and dated by Lloyd Loar on March 8, 1923, flowerpot headstock, triple ivoroid-bound body, single ivoroid-bound neck and headstock, triple-bound tortoise plastic pickguard, flowerpot and "The Gibson" inlays in headstock, pearl button tuners, "The Gibson" tailpiece cover (Loar-style), adjustable ebony bridge, sunburst finish figured maple neck, sides and back, sunburst carved spruce top, small (~1-3/8" long) splice in the back seam at the tailpiece end. From an estate, having been owned since around the 1950's, this previously uncatalogued Loar is all original and has, like all mid-'20's Master Models, exceptional sound. Includes green-lined OHSC
