Description
1921 batch # and early 1923 serial. Tuning pegs are older style (not arrow-end) "off the shelf" and holes for them cut into the "G" in "Gibson". Double flowerpot cut by truss rod channel is also consistent with how they leftover parts were made into Loar period instruments.
Binding has a yellow tint to it, sunburst a little haphazard around 7 o'clock. Most likely the binding was not scraped on this one after the finish was completed.
