Description

EXC A fine example of Gibson's top of the line A Model during the Loar period. All original and all in wonderful condition from the tailpiece to the tuning pegs. The "Pat Jan 18 '21" adjustable bridge can serve as a correct replacement for your Lloyd Loar F- 5 if you choose. Original pickguard and bracket also in beautiful shape. Comfortable truss rodded neck with a little wear on the back in the first position. Flamed maple back. There is a stable crack at the endpin which has been checked by a luthier and deemed harmless. There is also a stable and almost invisible heel repair. This mandolin plays easily and sounds great. Original hardshell case is in fair shape but missing it's handle.
