Description

This is perhaps the cleanest pre-war Gibson mandolin I have ever seen. It was bought from the original owner. Its about as close to mint as you will find in a 20s era instrument. Its a Loar era early production snakehead with the brown top finish. This one owner mandolin shows almost no evidence of playing. There is no wear on the back of the neck, no scratchs, nicks or dings. There is a very small bit of top finish checking due to age, not playing wear. All finish and hardware is original. Has the truss rod. Great playability and sound - the classic round hole Gibson punch and volume.
