Description
Excellent condition, Sheraton brown finish, very clean. This was made just prior to the snakheads and it has all of the Loar era improvments with a wider neck for more comfortable playing but also has the truss rod and the adjustable bridge. Most importantly it has the snakehead sound. The wide grain tops in the 1921-22 time frame really seem to put out the volume. This is an exceptionally responsive and loud mandolin and it will cut right through a session. Plays very easy and has an excellent woody tone as well. All hardware is original except missing the pickguard. Comes with a non-original hardshell case.
