Description

EC-, 2-point body, red sunburst finish, carved spruce top with ivoroid-bound oval soundhole, rope-ivoroid-rope marquetry rosette, figured maple back and rims, 2-piece mahogany neck with dark center strip, 21-fret ebony fingerboard, 1-3/16" nut width, ~15-7/8" scale, ebony bridge (saddle top has been shaved down on bass side), nickel hardware, "The Gibson" stamped tailpiece cover, ivoroid-bound body, fingerboard and headstock, pearl logo and double flowerpot headstock inlays, 4-on-a-plate tuners with ivoroid tuner buttons, tortoise plastic pickguard stamped "PAT.MAR.30,'09", mandola version of Gibson F-4 mandolin, very hard to find in this condition, fine sound, on consignment, with OHSC (green lining) (SN:68243)
