Description
Although this one is just pre-truss rod era it has its original celluloid button tuners, clean-as-a-whistle tuner plates, “The Gibson” and floral design slide-on tailpiece cover, original pickguard, although our shop has provided a "fiddle" style tensioner clip with which to attach said Mar. 30, ’09 patent stamp fingge rrest to the treble side. The ebony fingerboard is bordered by ivoroid, as is the top. Peghead is inlaid “The Gibson” in script gleaming pearl with six pearl dotmarkers on the fretboard, which has an extension of two partial frets. It shows some earlier buffing and the slightest dimple under the bass bridge foot, but overall it is an instrument in notably clean condition.
