Mandolin, Style A2
Factory Order number: 11453
Excellent condition. Sheraton Brown top finish with dark back and sides. Peghead has "The Gibson" logo inlaid in pearl. The fretboard as well as both the top and back of the body are bound in grained celluloid. All hardware and finish is original showing some minor playing wear. Its clean on the top, but the back has a couple of bad scrapes as seen in the pics. Neck is straight and the frets are in good shape. The mandolin plays and sounds great. Action is low and playable and it has a good ringing sound. Excellent for Celtic or old-time music.
