VGC+ except 3 repaired top cracks, completely refinished (dark back, sides and neck, sunburst top), carved spruce top with tortoise plastic pickguard inlaid into top (and with pearl inlaid in the pickguard, including fleur-de-lis in middle), pearl "Gibson" inlaid in
headstock ("The" part of logo appears removed), unbound ebony fretboard with pearl dot inlays, ivoroid-bound top, ebony bridge, early style "The Gibson" engraved tailpiece, 4-in-a-line tuners with ivoroid buttons, dual b-w-checkerboard-w-b purfling rings around oval soundhole, 10-5/8" lower bout, ~14" scale, 1-1/4" nut width, shim installed under fretboard to improve neck angle, "Orville" label with picture of Orville Gibson and lyre-mandolin,good sound, with HSC
