Description

Excellent minus condition with some repairs. The F2 is the same mandolin as the top of the line scroll F4, but with less fancy cosmetics. It has the red sunburst finish, two piece back, pearl logo, bound top and bound ebony fingerboard with treble extension. Finish and hardware are original including the Handel inlaid tuners and the one piece bridge. Nice big woody sound from this mandolin with good bass! Neck is straight, neck angle is good and the frets are fine. Its not a museum piece - there is very stable ancient repaired peghead crack as shown, the big peghead scroll was broken and reglued, and a few seams were reglued as well. Missing the pickguard.
