Description

Excellent minus condition, natural top finish with dark back and sides. The A-3 was the next to the top of the line for Gibson A style mandolins. Peghead has "The Gibson" logo inlaid in pearl with the additional A-3 style inlay. The fretboard as well as both the top and back of the body are bound in grained celluloid. Finish is original and in nice shape. Tuners and tailpiece are original, and the bridge has been upgraded to a Loar era copy by Dan Smith. Missing the pickguard.
