Description

Very good plus condition with a repaired heel crack. The F2 is the less fancy version of the classic teens Gibson scroll mandolin. It has the red mahogany finish which is slightly shaded but not a true sunburst. Finish and hardware look to be original with a repaired area in the pickguard. The neck is straight and the frets are good. The heel crack was professionally repaired as was a small back seam separation. Its not invisible, but it is structually strong. There is the usual nicks and dings and playing wear on the back of the neck and on the top where your arm covers over.
