Description

From John at McCabe's Guitar Shop:

The instrument belonged to Ed Ball who played it in the Fort Wayne Mandolin Orchestra. Ed told Vic he had ordered it in 1914, but by the serial number it is clearly 1917. The shaped case is right-handed with the pick compartment removed so that the mandolin fits upside-down. The "The Gibson" is at the same angle and relationship to the flowerpot as on a right hand F4, rather than re-angling it to reflect left-handedness. It's been a great Show and Tell item.
