Description
VG-EC except repaired headstock scroll and one very small repaired top crack, rare natural carved spruce top has aged to pumpkin, oval soundhole, inlaid rope pattern-ivoroid-rope pattern soundhole rosette, red stained sides and carved back, 2-piece mahogany neck with dark center strip, 19-fret ebony fingerboard with extension, pearl dot inlays, compensated non-adjustable ebony bridge, 4-on-a-plate open-gear Handel tuners, ivoroid-bound top, soundhole and fretboard, pearl "The Gibson" headstock inlay and engraved tailpiece cover, tortoise plastic pickguard stamped "PAT.MAR.30,'09", pickguard mount stamped "PAT.JULY 4,1911", ~14" scale, 1-9/32" nut width, 1-5/8" body depth at endpin, 10" body width, very nice playing and sounding instrument, with black OHSC (purple lining, needs handle, broken original in case)
