From James Ivers:
This mandolin (F-4 24532) was purchased directly from Gibson by my Great Grandfather Joseph Ivers of Adams Mass, who was a teacher, instrument dealer, and mandolin orchestra leader. My father has played it for as long as I can remember. It has a crack expertly repaired by a luthier in Ithaca, NY.
