Description
Excellent plus condition. Very clean three point bought from the family of the original owner. Its been played but very carefully cared for, and as such it in fine condition with a round open woody sound. There is minimal wear consistant with light use and no major scratchs, nicks or dings. There is a small bit of finish checking due to age, not playing wear. Neck is straight, frets are good. All hardware and finish is original. It has the inlaid Handel tuners. This has the steeper neck set angle which gives it the modern bridge height and therefore better volume. Great playability and sound - the classic round hole Gibson punch and volume. This is a really loud mandolin. It would be a very fine session instrument. Excellent for Irish, Celtic, and old time music. Comes with the original end opening leather case.
